| The
Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota conducted a national search for
a sculptor to create lifesize figures of the Mayo brothers and to
design a portion of their new garden space to feature these portraits.
After a series of interviews with qualifying sculptors, Tuck Langland
was chosen to do the job in March of 2002. The larger than lifesize
sculpture depicts Dr. Will Mayo and Dr. Charlie Mayo resting on steps
outside of the Mayo Clinic. |
