"During
the process of modelling the lioness and impala, I became interested
in the idea of having two male impala jumping together, as a sculptural
piece, and so made a second model, supported by a steel structure
much like a new moon. This structure is minimal and does not detract
from the visual impact of the two antelope." - Robert Glen
"Two Leaping Impala Antelope" was modelled direct by Sculptor
Robert Glen and then cast in bronze at the famous Fonderia Artistica
Mariani in Pietrasanta, Italy. |
